Marcy McCusker is a classically trained dancer who discovered Pilates mat work at a young age to enhance her dance studies. After launching her professional dance career in Los Angeles, a severe ankle injury led her back to Pilates for rehabilitation, and she has been passionate about it ever since.
Certified by Pilates Sports Center in 2005, Marcy became a PMA Certified Master Trainer and has been certifying new instructors since 2014. She specializes in working with pre and post-natal clients and was honored to be a guest instructor at the Poppy Farmhouse Pilates & Cooking Retreat in Asti, Italy. Marcy believes in the transformative power of Pilates for people of all ages and fitness levels. She is particularly passionate about the healing principles of Pilates, helping everyone become stronger and more confident in their bodies.
In addition to her extensive Pilates career, Marcy has enjoyed a successful career as a professional dancer and actress in Hollywood. She has worked with artists like Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, N'Sync, Jessica Simpson, and Kylie Minogue, and with renowned choreographers such as Marguerite Derricks and Michael Rooney. Her TV credits include "Ratched", "Physical", "Castle," "How I Met Your Mother," "American Dreams," and the Grammy Awards. Marcy has also appeared in films like "Southland Tales" with Justin Timberlake, "Jackass Number Two," "A Very Merry Harold & Kumar," and "Gangster Squad" with Sean Penn
Marcy’s dance career paved the way for her transition into acting. She has recurred on NBC's "Community" and guest-starred on shows like "CSI: NY," "Fatal Attraction," "New Adventures of Old Christine," and "Monk."
Beyond her professional achievements, Marcy is a proud mom to two little boys, Isaac and Gabriel. She is dedicated to showing them the importance of self-care, health, and pursuing their dreams.
